项目摘要

研究計画3年目には、研究チームとしてそれぞれの中間調査結果を各自が所属する学会やシンポジュームで公表を試みた。研究2年目と同様に直接の情報収集により3か所のRISの特徴の抽出を試みた。訪問をした北米の3ヶ所のRISでは、大学発ベンチャー企業創出とイノベーション創出のためのスキームについて聞き取り調査をし、関係者とEntrepreneurship Cultureとは何をさすかEntrepreneurship Cultureをどのように定義し、形成していくかに関して議論を深めた。また調査訪問した大学を中心とするシステムでは、それぞれがイノベーション活動、ベンチャー企業育成活動の促進のための諸施策の実施(オン・キャンパスインキュベータ設置、ベンチャーコンテスト等の開催、単位取得を目的とした授業、単位取得を目的としない勉強会)、つまり「キャンパスを取り巻くイノベーション活動、ベンチャー育成関係者」や大学内のベンチャー育成やイノベーションに携わることのない人達の間でのRisk Takerへの尊敬の念が見受けられるかどうかを議論した。また、調査したそれぞれのRISは20年近い活動と歴史を積み上げ、一応にEntrepreneurship Cultureの存在と意義を、そしてその形成の難しさを示唆した。と同時に、カルチャーの存在を計測する方法の確定において難しさに直面し、今改めて、人類学や文化論関係の先行研究のリビューを再検証し直している。
