项目摘要

病気の子どがの治療の進行に合わせて、どのように自分らしさを探索し獲得していくのか、そのプロセスを明らかにするために研究をすすめた。グラウシデッド・モオリー・アプローチに基づいて、昨年度までの研究プロセスにおいて抽出されたカテゴリー、サブカテゴリーに合わせて理論的サンプリングをすすめ、データ収集・分析を進行させた。研究協力者は小児がんおよび骨髄・肝移植経験者で当事者グループへの参加者10名となった。データ収集はインタビューと参加観察によって行い、分析は承諾を得た上で録音したインタビュー内容を逐語録化したデータを基に行い、平行して理論的サンプリングも進行させた。データの分析プロセスを通して、本研究方法論に精通する研究者によるスーパーヴィジョンを受け、データ収集の方向性や分析の正確性などの確認を並行して行いながら進させたその気とってからの進にAわせてどもたちが自分らしさを探索・獲得するプロセスにおいて、(1)生きる責務を理解し直面すること、(2)普通の経験を分かち合うことのできる居場所の確保、(3)自立やセルフケアに対する自らのニーズに直面すること、(4)周囲との関係性の継続・発展・強化、の4つがカテゴリーとして抽出された。これらは、a)日常生活からの切り離し、b)喪失に対する苦悩、c)将来の状況予測に対する困難感によって、停滞もしくは減退するものであり、d)生きる責務の理解、e)仲間の夢を引き継ぎ生きることへの情熱、f)安易な共感を超えた相互理解、g)反抗を通しての成長などによって進しくは充実・強化されるものであることが明らかになった。今後はさらに理論的サンプリングとデータ分析をすすめ、中核カテゴリーの抽出を行い、理論の生成をめざしていく。
