An Empirical Research on the History of the Social Movements after the World War II, Based on the Analysis of 'Kitahara Taisaku Collection'

北原大作（1906-1981）是日本战前和战后“部落民问题”解放运动的活动家和理论家，他收集了3000多件与部落民问题有关的资料，并将其编成私人文集（“北原大作文集”）。这部文集对研究者不仅推动社会运动史的研究，而且对日本近现代史的研究都具有重要意义。首先，我们重新组织的材料，以保持在一个更好的条件下，根据完整的枚举。同时，我们已经完成了收藏品的目录，以便在不久的将来向公众开放。然后对其中的部分资料进行了文献分析，并在学术期刊上进行了介绍。北原收藏的部分资料已经被包括我们卡肯小组成员在内的研究人员用于出版的社会运动史著作中。

Kitahara Taisaku(1906-1981), an activist and theorist of the liberation movement of 'Buraku problem' through the prewar and postwar-time in Japan, collected more than 3, 000 pieces of materials related to Buraku problem and compiled them as a private collection('Kitahara Taisaku Collection'). The collection has great significance for researchers to promote not only the historical studies of social movements but also the studies of Japanese modern and contemporary history. Firstly we reorganized the materials to preserve them in a better condition according to the complete enumeration. Simultaneously we have finished making the catalogue of the collection in order to make it open to the public in the near future. Then we have made bibliographical analysis of the part of the materials and introduced them on the academic journals. Some of the materials of the Kitahara collection already have been utilized in the published works on the history of social movements by researchers including our KAKEN group members.
