A Study on the Freedom of Environmental Information in the System of Integrated Pollution Control in Britain.

I have studied, in comparison with Japanese regime, on the Integrated Pollution Control system which was introduced in Britain ahead of other EU countries, as being the excellent system which can regulate environmental pollution as a whole ; especially, I researched focusing on its arrangement of information disclosure.Some points were proved to be stronger than Japanese system, in that there enacted much more detailed provisions concerning environmental information disclosure as the precondition which enables the public to participate in administrative decisions ; and in that laid down the rules on the provision of classified information which makes the public easy to recognize environmental situations, and the rules to secure the oppor-tunity of public inspection into registers.
