Research on the Tendency in Treatment of Mentally Disordered Offenders

2005年实施了《精神错乱情况下造成严重案件者医疗护理和治疗法》，这是日本历史上第一部关于治疗精神错乱罪犯的法律。本研究将近年来有关精神障碍罪犯的争论与20世纪70 - 80年代的争论进行了比较。通过对这两个时期的比较，在刑罚与责任、精神障碍罪犯与精神障碍病人（非罪犯）的分类、精神病罪犯的专门治疗等方面提出了不同的观点。

Act on Medical Care and Treatment for Persons Who Have Caused Serious Cases under the Condition of Insanity, as a first act on treatment mentally disordered offenders in history in Japan, was enforced in 2005. This research compared the arguments on mentally disordered offenders recent years with those in 1970-80s. Compared the two periods, contrast views are presented, on penalty and responsibility, classification between mentally disordered offenders and mentally disordered patients(non-offender), specialized treatments in insane offenders.
