英文摘要
Experiments on the earthquake model known as Burridge-Knopoff mode with self-made devices were conducted. The system of the model consists of some blocks and springs and the magnitude distribution(the relationship between the slip event size and its frequency) and time-interval distribution of the events were obtained. It was clarified that the system shows a critical feature in the small and medium magnitude regions while a characteristic feature in the large magnitude region. It was also clarified how these distributions depend on the parameters in the system(number of blocks, sandpaper grade, spring constant and so on).
