Ras and Rho family GTPases play an important role as a molecular switch in intracellular signal transduction. Recently, its subcellular region-specific regulatory mechanisms are featured. In this study, we analyzed the subcellular region-specific regulatory mechanism underlying newly identified signaling pathways involving the GTPase Rac1, RhoA, or Rap1.
