Salivary gland hypofunction leads to severe disorders of oral function, such as disturbances in taste, mastication, swallowing and speaking. Management of dry mouth is necessary for a higher quality of life, but dry mouth increases in young subjects. We investigated suppression factor of saliva production and improvement treatment for dry mouth by analyzing the relationship between the hypofunction and stress hormones or food habits. The salivary gland massage in addition to the balanced diet helps improve the hypofunction.

唾液腺功能减退导致严重的口腔功能障碍，如味觉、咀嚼、吞咽和说话障碍。口干的管理对于提高生活质量是必要的，但口干在年轻受试者中增加。通过分析唾液分泌功能低下与应激激素或饮食习惯的关系，探讨唾液分泌抑制因素及改善口干的治疗方法。唾液腺按摩加上均衡饮食有助于改善功能减退。
