Study on effect of the Postoperative pain management educational program for surgical ward nurses

本研究旨在了解外科病房护士实施术后疼痛管理教育及问卷调查的效果。我们向1580名外科病房护士邮寄了问卷，收到了1333份（84.4%）的回复。结果显示，护士对手术疼痛有一定的了解，护士愿意提供姑息治疗，但满意度和信心较低。此外，通过实施术后疼痛管理教育计划，主观评价和护理实践得到了提高。

The purpose of this study was to clarity about an effect of the postoperative pain management educational program and the questionnaire survey of the postoperative pain management for surgical ward nurses. We mailed a questionnaire to 1, 580 surgical ward nurses and received responses from 1, 333(84.4%). Result showed that nurses understood Operative pain, and nurses approached to providing palliative care, but nurses were low satisfaction and confidence.Moreover, it was showed that subjective evaluation and nursing practice became higher by enforcement of the postoperative pain management educational program.
