英文摘要
The present study aimed to verify the hypothesis that mentoring contributes to self-awareness of career anchors and compatibility with job content. Data from 1232 nurses working at general hospitals nationwide with at least 5 years of nursing experience were analyzed.Nearly 70% of respondents had been positively influenced by their primary mentor regarding self-awareness of career anchors.Conversely, prevalence of positive influence regarding compatibility with job content only slightly exceeded 50%. These findings generally support the hypothesis that mentoring contributes to self-awareness of career anchors and compatibility with job content.
