Practical wisdom regarding end-of-life care for patients with chronic respiratory disease

本研究旨在探讨护士对慢性呼吸系统疾病（CRD）患者需求的看法，以及护士与患者或家属之间的互动。我们采访了10名具有5-13年CRD临床经验的女护士。访谈数据进行定性和归纳分析。结果表明，护士试图识别不确定生命终结的患者的潜在需求，让他们意识到自己在生命终结阶段想要什么，并满足他们的最后愿望。在未来，这些发现有望促进评估工具的创建，以评估我们的互动和护理模式。

The aim of this study was to identify nurses' perspectives on the needs of patients with chronic respiratory disease (CRD) and the interaction between nurses and patients or family members. We interviewed 10 female nurses with 5-13 years of clinical experience with CRD. Interview data were subjected to qualitative and inductive analyses. The results indicated that the nurses try to identify the potential needs of patients who are uncertain about the end of their life, make them aware of what they want to be in the end-of-life period, and satisfy their last wishes. In the future, these findings are expected to facilitate the creation of an assessment tool for evaluating our interaction and the nursing care model.
