项目摘要

本研究は、百首歌を相対的に捉え、その特質と影響を明らかにすることを目的とする。本年度は研究論文3本、学会発表1件の成果を得た。以下、研究計画に拠り、3つのテーマに沿って述べることとする。1、奉納百首における発展と継承の解明論文「経盛集と奉納-寿永百首をめぐる一考察-」では、平安末期の注目すべき作品、寿永百首の分析を試み、従来私家集と同等に扱われてきた当該作品を百首歌の系譜に位置づけ直すことで、新たに、「奉納百首」としての特徴を明らかにすることができた。具体的には経盛集を中心に検討し、経盛の百首には、自詠歌が優れていることを神へと訴え、神恩によって現状を好転させたいという祈願が込められていたことを指摘し、寿永百首研究に新たな展開をもたらした。2、仮託百首における百首形式の継承論文「「天神仮託百首」の形成-「貞治元年神託百首」を中心に-」では、菅原道真(天神)に仮託された歌集の中でも、貞治元年に発見されたという跋文を持つ百首(「貞治元年神託百首」)について調査し、鎌倉末～南北朝期の歌人の詠歌が利用されていること、跋文が安楽寺神託詩歌の一件を模していることを指摘し、従来謎に包まれていた天神仮託歌集形成過程の一端を明らかにした。3、百首歌成立の時代背景と通史的研究の展望平安末期に生きた公卿、藤原隆季の和歌活動を詳細に分析し、学会発表「藤原隆季の和歌活動」において、隆季が昇進や人脈強化を目的として和歌詠作に取り組んでいたことを明らかにした。このような詠歌意識は、たとえば久安百首歌人らにも見られ、百首歌詠進の動機の一つとして存したことがわかり、応製百首の特徴を把握する上でも重要な発見であったといえる。また、論文「藤原隆季の和歌と詩文摂取」では、隆季歌に見られる漢詩文摂取についても、同時代歌人との関わりや息子隆房への影響についても論じた。以上、1・2は、百首歌の発展と継承の様相を具体的に捉えた研究であり、3は百首歌成立の時代背景、及び、部立百首の意義を明らかにする上でも有意義な研究であったと考える。
