筆者は昨年度8月より継続して文書館史料や二次文献などを渉猟する調査を行った。具体的には、博士論文のテーマとして設定した「トリーア・ケルン・マインツ三聖界選帝侯領における魔女迫害の構造比較」のための史料としてとくに民衆からの「請願状」に着目し、これが魔女迫害においてどのような機能を果たしたのか分析し、そこから見られる君主一臣民間の複雑な関係を明らかにすることを目的としている。今年度は特に文書館の手稿史料の解読と分析に注力した。8月～9月には一時帰国し、それら史料調査の成果をまとめつつ、マインツ選帝侯領における魔女迫害について論文を作成し、2010年8月末に国内の学術雑誌に投稿した。さらにその後の史料調査によって得られた知見を加えた改稿を経て、現在審査中である。またトリーア大学のフォルトマー氏と同テーマに関する共同論文を現在準備中である。ここではフォルトマー氏がトリーア選帝侯領、ルクセンブルク大公領、聖マクシミン修道院領において行われた魔女迫害とそこでの請願状の役割について、また筆者はマインツ選帝侯領およびケルン選帝侯領レンス市における魔女迫害について執筆を担当することになっている。これは2011年中に発表される予定である。また、2010年9月にマルティン・ルター・ハレ・ヴィッテンベルク大学において行われた日独共同大学院秋季セミナーにおいて「近世における請願状の諸機能-マインツ選帝侯領における魔女迫害の事例から-」と題してこれまでの史料調査に基づきドイツ語での口頭研究発表を行った。
