项目摘要

採用三年度の研究の実施状況、及びその成果は以下の三つに大別される。(1)一つ目は、博士論文執筆の上で布石となる当該研究課題分野の先行究の渉猟・整理することである。これは、(a)20世紀への世紀転換期を対象とするイギリス政治思想史研究(イギリス本国という国内的空間を想定するもの)、(b)円卓会議運動や国際連盟構想を対象とする実証的な英帝国史研究及び帝国思想史・国際関係思想史研究、(C)政治思想のより基底にある同時期のイギリスを対象とする宗教・倫理思想、の三つに大きく分けられる。採用一・二年度目を通して、これら(a)・(b)・(c)の渉猟・整理に努めてきたが、本年度はこれまでの渉猟・整理を包括的に再整理することで、この課題を完遂した。(2)二つ目は、今年度の研究成果の発表である。この点については、前年度に執筆し、日本国際政治学会の学会誌『国際政治』に投稿した以下の論文の査読結果(部分的修正により掲載可能というもの)を拝受したため、査読講評に基づき、修正を行った。本論文は、円卓会議運動の指導者の一人であり、世界初の国際政治学者ともなったアルフレッド・ジマーン(Alfred E.Zimmern,1979-1957)の再理解及び再評価を行い、先行研究とは異なる、戦間期における「国際的福祉社会の構想者」としてのジマーン像の提示を試みたものである。(3)三つ目は、採用一年度・二年度目に引き続く、イギリスにおける一次文献・資料の調査・収集である。今年度は8月初頭～9月中葉にかけて、カーディフ大学図書館とケンブリッジ大学図書館において、理想主義哲学の思想的影響を受けつつ英帝国再編や国際連盟の構想を担った人物(今年度はフィリップ・カー(Philip Kerr)を中心に)の未公刊論考や日記、手記を渉猟することに努めた。採用一年度・二年度目より行ってきた、当該研究課題遂行上不可欠なこうした一次文献・資料の収集は、これによってほぼ完遂したと言える。

The implementation status and results of the three-year study are as follows: (1)The author of the doctoral thesis is the author of the doctoral thesis. A Study on the History of Political Thought in the 20th Century (b) Research on the history of the British Empire and the history of imperial thought and the history of international relations thought,(c) Research on the basis of political thought,(d) Research on religion and ethical thought, and (C) Research on the basis of political thought. This year's project was completed by adopting the first and second year's objectives, including (a),(b) and (c), and the second year's objectives, including (a) and (c). (2)Second, this year's research results are published. The following papers were submitted to the Journal of the Japanese Society of International Politics (JISPA) for review (some corrections may be included). This paper is a re-understanding and re-evaluation of the first international political scholar, Alfred E. Zimmer (1979 -1957), who is the director of the International Conference Movement. (3)Three projects, the use of annual and biennial projects for the first time in the literature, data survey, collection From the beginning of August to the middle of September this year, the University Library and the University Library were influenced by idealistic philosophy. The British Empire was re-edited and the International Alliance was supposed to be responsible for the people (Philip Kerr was the center of this year). The first year and the second year are adopted. When the research project is carried out, it is necessary to collect the first literature and data.
