北タイにおける中国系ムスリム移民の越境と宗教ネットワークに関する人類学的研究

项目摘要

本研究の目的は、中国出身のムスリム越境者(雲南系ムスリム)に着目し、政治的経済的なマクロな諸要因によって生活様式が大きく影響されつつも、民族独自の宗教、言語や諸文化にもとづく多元的なネットワークを用いて、東アジアと東南アジアを結ぶ移民の生活圏を確立していく姿を捉え、移民の視点からみた地域像を浮き彫りにする点にある。最終年度において代表者は、アメリカ・サンフランシスコで行われたAmerican Anthropological Associationの年次集会にて"The Negotiation of Chinese Ethnicity, Islam and the Making of Trans-Regional Network Among Yunnanese Muslims in the Thai-Myanmar Borderland"と題して、本研究で得られた越境とネットワーク、宗教の動態に関する最新の知見にもとづき、研究発表を行った。また、宗教の再構築というテーマのもと、日本文化人類学会においても、「中国ムスリムの越境と宗教の再構築」と題して口頭発表を行い、地域を越えた比較の視点から議論を行った。また、台湾のキリスト教組織によるタイ北部雲南系ムスリム移民支援に関する資料収集を行い、文献資料をもとに越境と宗教空間の再構築に関する理論的検討も行った。これらの研究と成果発表にもとづいて、越境と宗教動態とネットワークに関する中国系ムスリムの独自性と地域的特徴を把握し、越境プロセスにおいて宗教の果たす役割、民族・宗教を超えた共生の在り方についてあらたな知見を得ることができた。
