In MSM/Ms mouse, we showed that coordinate function of thalamus, midbrain, pons, and medulla was essential for its agility. In addition, high induction of Spink3 was involved in resistance to cerulein-induced pancreatitis. Furthermore, we succeeded to create knock out and knock-in mice in MODY associated genes including HNF1alpha, HNF1beta, HNF4alpha, Pdx1, NeuroD, Gck, that become valuable resources in research community.
