The extract, which was isolated from zoospores of olpidium by the hot phenol method and absorbed a virus, were not separated by Thin-Layer Chromatography and SDS-PAGE. It suggests that the extract includes polysaccharide. The extract strongly reacted to Concanavalin A(ConA). The ConA also reacted the surface of zoospores, suggesting that substances exist on the surface of zoospores. When the molecular weight was presumed by gel filtration analysis, they contained some substrates with different high molecular weights that depend on isolates. It suggested that this difference is involved in specificity of fungal transmission.

用热酚法分离出的吸附病毒的粗提物，经薄层层析和SDS-PAGE均未分离。提示该提取物中含有多糖。该提取物与刀豆球蛋白A（ConA）反应强烈。ConA还能与游动孢子表面发生反应，表明游动孢子表面存在物质。当通过凝胶过滤分析推测分子量时，它们包含一些具有不同高分子量的底物，这取决于分离物。提示这种差异与真菌传播的特异性有关。
