平成23年度では,平成22年度に収集したデータの分析・記述と,遠隔的手法を活用した日本語学習者と母語話者の接触場面データの分析を行った。当該年度の研究成果は以下の通りである。1)前年度に収集した談話データ(調査分析1:日本語自然会話調査(国内・海外),調査分析2:日本語教室場面調査)の分析を引き続き行い,談話内で活用されるストラテジーの使用を記述・分析した。また日本語教室場面調査に関しては,昨年度の資料に加え更に音声・映像データを補填収集し,量的な分析資料を蓄積した。また,日本語自然会話調査の音声・映像資料の文字化記述を進め,海外会話資料の日本語化を行い,汎用的な研究資料の作成に努めた。2)調査分析3:遠隔接触場面による実証調査を行い,ウェブカンファレンスシステムを利用した擬似接触場面の調査分析を実施した。多者間遠隔接触場面と二者間遠隔接触場面の両環境で実施し,遠隔接触場面の映像,談話データを収集した。また調査分析1にあたる対面接触場面とのストラテジーを比較し,(ビデオ)画面を通した遠隔接触場面におけるコミュニケーションの課題点を指摘し,談話環境の差異におけるコミュニケーション方略のあり方を考察した。3)本年度までの研究成果をまとめ,現在博士論文執筆を進めている。また研究論文,関連研究の報告書を執筆し,研究成果の還元を行った。4)本年度までの調査に関し,海外協力校の教員へのフィードバック及び資料提供,調査協力者へのフィードバックを行った。また遠隔コミュニケーションに関する既存授業で研究資料を公開するワークショップを行い,カリキュラムや活動内容の参考資料を提供した。また国内外の学会で研究成果を公開し、各大学の教員,他専門分野の研究者との意見交換を行った。
