本研究では,大型遺跡の調査や地中海世界からの影響に偏っている北レヴァントの先行研究を顧み,中規模遺跡など北レヴァント内の周縁地域の調査,在地物質文化の検討,シリア内陸部を含めた北レヴァントの周辺地域との比較検討を行い,従来の偏った歴史像を再構築する。最終年度となる第3年目の本年度は,天理参考館での補足的な調査を行うとともに,これまでの研究成果を積極な公開に重きをおいた。天理参考館での調査では,前年度行った受け入れ研究機関である古代オリエント博物館収蔵資料の後期青銅器時代おけるキプロス土器の比較資料として,テル・ゼロール出土のwhite Slip wareの資料調査を行った。この成果を踏まえ,white Slip wareの施文技術についての系譜について研究し,本研究が対象としている,後期青銅器時代の東地中海で重要な役割を果たしたキプロス島の社会変遷を,土器の施文方法の変化から繕いた。その成果を日本西アジア考古学会第17回大会にて発表し,これらの成果を巡って,同地域を対象としている参加研究者と議論を交わした。また,ワルシャワで行われた国際学会"8th International Congress on the Archaeology of the Ancient Near East"にて,本研究で中心となるつの地域の一つ,エル・ルージュ盆地の拠点遺跡テル・エル・ケルクと,ユーフラテス中流域に位置するテル・ガーネム・アル・アリ遺跡での発掘調査に基づく新知見を同地域を対象としている海外の研究者に対して公表し,広く意見を求めた。また,本研究の成果を広く一般向けに公開する目的で,東北学院大学で開催された公開シンポジウム「ユーラシア乾燥地域における河水利用一水が育む歴史・文化・環境」講演をし,ユーラシア乾燥地域という大きな枠組みで本研究の成果を位置づけを試みた。

This study aims at preliminary study of the influence of large-scale archaeological sites on the Mediterranean world, regional survey of medium-scale archaeological sites in northern China, comparative study of geographical material and culture, and reconstruction of historical images of recent archaeological sites. Last year, the third year of the year, the investigation of the supplement of the Tenri Reference Museum was carried out, and the research results were actively disclosed. The investigation of the Tenri Reference Museum was carried out in the previous year. The investigation of the data of the ancient museum collection and the comparative data of the late Bronze Age unearthed white Slip ware was carried out. This research aims at the study of the important service of the Eastern Mediterranean in the late Bronze Age and the social transformation of the island, as well as the transformation of the application method of soil tools. The 17th Meeting of the Western Archaeological Society of Japan was held to present the results, and the participants discussed the results in the same region. "8th International Congress on the Archaeology of the Ancient Near East," the center of this study, is located in the basin's historical site. New findings from the investigation of the location of the river basin in China, and from overseas researchers For the purpose of publicizing the results of this study, Tohoku University has launched a public lecture entitled "History, Culture, and Environment of River Water Utilization in Dry Areas," which aims to test the location of the results of this study.
