10月22日に、日本ユダヤ学会第8回学術大会で「スピノザの神権政治-現代ユダヤ思想における受容」のタイトルで発表をした。発表においてスピノザの神権政治に関する主張が、現代イスラエルの宗教・政治問題の文脈へ影響力を持っていることを指摘した。2012年2月18日にもたれた、一神教学際研究センターによる国際シンポジウム「宗教がもたらすあらそいと豊かさ-ユダヤ教・キリスト教・イスラームの記憶から未来へ」を若手のイスラーム研究者らと企画し、'Co-existencein Modern Jewish Thought : People, Religion, State, and Land -Martin Buber's Interpretation of Jewish Texts-'のタイトルで研究発表をした。このシンポジウムにはエルサレムでの研究滞在の際に面談したPaulMendes-Flohr教授にコメンテーターとして参加してもらった。ブーバーの神権政治の背景となる、彼のナショナリティ理解を考察し、それが当時の他の政治シオニズムを主張する人々の理解といかに違うものであるかを指摘した。Mendes-Flohr教授からは「研究の方法が妥当である」と指摘をもらい、以後の研究の課題となるブーバーの土地理解に関するコメントをもらった。2012年1月21日～3月12日にヘブライ大学で研究滞在を行った。上記の国際シンポジウムは一時帰国をして参加した。発表後の滞在では、スピノザとマイモニスに関する文献を収集し、日本ユダヤ学会に投稿するスピノザに関する論文執筆に取り組んだ。Zev Harvey教授と面談し、執筆中のスピノザに関する論文に関してコメントをもらった。帰国後は、マイモニデスに関する考察をはじめた。3月31日に、日本ユダヤ学会へ「現代ユダヤ思想におけるスピノザ受容-神権政治と普遍的信仰-」のタイトルで投稿し、現在査読中である。
