项目摘要

第3年度目である本年度は、1920・30年代の日本の文壇・論壇ジャーナリズムを構成する諸メディアを捉えなおすための総論的論考の執筆を進めた。具体的には、以下の3つの課題を中心に進めた。【1】第1年目に基礎資料の整理を進めた「座談会」メディアに関する応用的な分析を進めた。口頭発表「近代日本の座談会文化」では、座談会記事の機能をその起源に遡り分析し、同時代の朝鮮における言論ジャーナリズムの状況も視野に入れつつ全体として座談会文化の総体的な意義について再検討をおこなった。「劇場化」「加速化」などをキーワードとし、ジャーナリズムのおいてあらゆるコンテンツがパフォーマティヴな位相において消費されるプロセスを解明することに力点をおいた。【2】次に、1930年前後に隆盛した「ジャーナリズム」論の蒐集をふまえ、言論を支えていたメカニズムを解明する作業を進めた。論文「「編輯」と「綜合」」では当時の議論に通底した「編輯」「綜合」といった概念群を検討した。総合雑誌を分析対象に設定することで、本研究がこれまで継続してきた各課題を縫合することが可能になった。また、口頭発表「思想ジャーナリズム史序説」でも記事ジャンル群が雑誌媒体のなかでいかに連動・共鳴しあっていたかを浮かびあがらせた。いずれの成果も本研究の総括と位置づけられるものである。【3】また、上記作業と平行して、現在のジャーナリズム状況を批評する文章も随時発表した。月々の雑誌のレビューである連載「雑誌観測」や、アーカイブ環境の現状観察をおこなう連載「アーカイブ」などにおいて、当該研究課題で遂行された歴史調査を現代の諸問題に接続した場合に見えてくる可能性を展開することで議論を立体化させ、一般的な理解を得られるようアウトリーチにもつとめた。つとめた。
