The dataset of the location of tropical cyclone(TC) over the western North Pacific during the 20th century was created by collecting and digitizing the historical paper records stored in the libraries in Asian countries. This dataset provides us the new view of TC number trend during the 20th century. Overall numbers do not have trend but the TC tracks tend to shift northward and eastward during the 20th century.

通过收集亚洲各国图书馆保存的历史纸质记录并进行数字化处理，建立了世纪西北太平洋热带气旋（TC）位置数据集。该数据集为我们提供了世纪热带气旋数量变化趋势的新视角。总体数字没有趋势，但TC的路径往往在世纪向北和向东移动。
