In light-harvesting (LH) dendrimer systems, we have found thatDexter type exciton transfer processes take place from LH-antennas to the central coresubunits in ultra-short time region. In the ultrafast processes, it is also clarifiedthat soft-vibrational modes in the LH-antennas, which have very low frequencies, playimportant roles at room temperature for the highly efficient energy transfer in theLH-dendrimers. These results are important and novel guidelines for material designstargeting on practical applications of these related materials.
