Strategic Survey of Trends Toward Oral Pathology Standardization and Oral Pathology Board Certification in Asia for the New Century

本研究的目的是调查口腔病理学教育的现状和口腔病理学诊断在亚洲的情况，以使未来的标准化口腔病理学在亚洲国家，日本在口腔病理学委员会认证的领导作用。这项调查的结果表明，日本在口腔病理学委员会认证中发挥主导作用，实现口腔病理学标准化是可能的。利用ICT技术提供虚拟切片等数字内容和举办口腔病理诊断课程是该方法的重要战略。

The aim of this study was to survey the current status of oral pathology education and the situation of oral pathological diagnosis in Asia in order to enable future standardization of oral pathology in Asian countries, with Japan taking a leading role in oral pathology board certification. As a result of this survey, it became clear that standardization of oral pathology with Japan taking a leading role in oral pathology board certification was possible. Providing the digital content such as virtual slides using the ICT and holding the oral pathological diagnosis course are important for the method strategically.
