Three-dimensional analysis of internal structure of the important statue in Kyushu using the X-ray CT scanner

利用九州国立博物馆的X射线CT扫描设备，对九州的重要雕像进行了先进的三维分析。因此，雕像的结构和里面的供奉物都被详细探测出来。分析结果已提供给所有者和当地文化财产保护部门。同时，通过九州国立博物馆的展览活动，积极向公众发布。

Using X-ray CT scanning facilities at the Kyushu National Museum, advanced three-dimensional analysis of the important statue in Kyushu. As a result, the statue’s structure and the dedicatory objects within were detected in detail. The outcome of the analysis was provided to the owner and the local division of the cultural property protection. At same time it was released to the public actively through the exhibition activities in the Kyushu National Museum.
