A reseach of dating of the beginning of Yayoi period viewed from the chronology of pottery in the Liaodong Peninsula

为了发表1941年日本学者在上马石贝冢遗址发掘的报告，我们对该遗址的材料进行了绘图和拍照。根据开挖槽位置和开挖层位，对相关年代进行了类型学研究。因此，我们可以对辽东半岛新石器时代至铁器时代初期进行一次完整的年代学研究。上马石遗址B2区的年代被证明是从西周晚期到春秋时期。由此可以确定弥生时代的开始可追溯到公元前8世纪。此外，通过对陶核印的分析和对制陶工艺的分析，认为朝鲜半岛木蒙文化的发端于辽东地区新石器时代晚期。

We drew pictures and took photos about materials of Shangmashi shell midden site excavated by Japanese scholars in 1941 in order to publish the excavation report. The relative chronology was typologically researched based on the excavation trench location and the layers in excavation. Therefore we would make a full chronology from the Neolithic Age to the beginning of Iron Age in the Liaodong Peninsula. The B2 area of Shangmashi site is proved to date from the late Western Zhou dynasty period to the Spring Autumn period. This dating can be confirmed that the beginning of Yayoi period dates to 8 century BC. In addition, the analysis for the kernel stamps of pottery and the analysis of technology for making pottery indicate that the beginning of the Mumun culture in Korean Peninsula originated from the late Neolithic in the Liaodong area.
