项目摘要

本研究では、大学・公的研究機関(アカデミック)における異分野融合・学際連携研究の形成メカニズムを理解し、融合・連携を推進するための経営管理様式の確立を目指した。今日では融合・連携が政策的に推進されているが、支援の「受け手」であるアカデミックの準備状況は必ずしも万全ではなく、規範とすべき経営管理の理論・実践論の登場が待たれている。そこで本研究では、科学技術経営論・イノベーション・マネジメント論の見地から、国内の代表的な融合・連携研究拠点について事例研究を行い、融合・連携のマネジメント上の要件、及び中心的研究者に求められる要件の解明を目指した。更に、経営学・応用経済学の知見を援用し、融合・連携を促進するための経営管理フレームワークの開発と提案に努めた。本年度では、事例調査と融合・連携度の定量的成果指標の検討を行い、研究目的に示す「融合・連携研究拠点とその中心的研究者に求められる要件」を仮説的に提示した。具体的には、以下(1)から(3)の研究活動を実施した。(1) 経営組織論的アプローチとして、事例調査(ケーススタディー)手法を採用し、融合・連携研究拠点(京都大学物質-細胞統合システム拠点(iCeMS)及び東京大学ナノバイオ・インテグレーション研究拠点(CNBI)の2研究拠点)に対する以下の調査を実施した。(2) 上記の事例調査の一環として、個別研究者の学術成果DBを構築、融合・連携度を計量経済学的に指標化した。(3) 上記の成果をもとに、生産性の規定要因を仮説的に抽出した。具体的には、(1)の事例調査結果を、研究拠点間、職階間、分野間及び研究グループ間で比較・検証し、融合・連携研究拠点に特有な行動様式の抽出を図った。また、(2)で提起した主要経営指標(KPI)との間に統計学的分析を適用し、学際性・進捗度を説明する要因の抽出・体系化に努めた。
