Japanese colonialism in Asia and Japan's post-war recognition of history

我采访了海南岛的居民，记录了他们对日本皇军占领期间屠杀当地人、性暴力、强迫劳动、掠夺资源和食物的证词。我也阐明了海南岛的这些伤害与日本军队的统治政策或军事行动，或日本学者的学术调查之间的关系。此外，我还澄清了战后日本民间社会是如何忘记日本在海南岛造成的诸多伤害，否认日本在亚洲的殖民主义责任，歪曲日本的历史认识。

I interviewed the inhabitants in Hainan Dao and recorded their testimony about the massacre of locals, sexual violence, forced labor ,pillage of resources and food executed by the Japanese Imperial Army during its occupation.I also threw light upon the relationship between these harm in Hainan Dao and the ruling policy or military operation by the Japanese army, or the academic investigations by theJapanese researchers.Furthermore I clarified how the post-war Japanese civil society forgot these much harm that Japan did in Hainan Dao and denied the responsibility of Japanese colonialism in Asia and distorted the Japan’s recognition of history.
