Direct numerical simulation of flows including dense solid particles

包含致密固体颗粒的流动表现出复杂的行为，需要通过直接数值模拟来深入理解流动物理。体力型浸入边界法以其简单、计算成本低的优点吸引着人们的注意，但作为数值方法存在着固有的问题。在本研究中，我们明确了问题的根源，并提出了一种替代方法。此外，还对含致密颗粒的流动进行了直接数值模拟，以详细研究其行为。

Flows including dense solid particles show complex behavior and deep understanding of flow physics by direct numerical simulations is highly required. Body-force-type immersed boundary method is attractive from its simplicity and low computational cost while it has intrinsic problems as a numerical method. In the present study, we specified the source of problems and an alternative method was proposed. In addition, direct numerical simulations of flows including denseparticles were performed to investigate its behavior in detail.
