In einem einjährigen Pilotprojekt sollen vulkanologisch-sedimentologische Untersuchungen an den mächtigen und verbreiteten, jurassischen Flutlaven der nordchilenischen Küstenkordillere durchgeführt werden. Im Vordergrund steht hierbei eine Quantifizierung der physisch-vulkanologischen Parameter dieser einzigartigen intra-arc-Flutlaven-Abfolgen. Der Antrag steht im Zusammenhang mit einem Humboldt-Stipendiumsantrag von Károly Németh, Ph.D., Budapest.
