Wnt11 therapy using adeno-associated virus improved survival of mice with myocarditis by about 30%. We tried to clarify the mechanism to improve survival. We found wnt11 significantly suppressed the production of inflammatory cytokines from activated Raw cells which are cell line of macrophage. We showed wnt11 has therapeutic effect on virus-induced myocarditis.
