项目摘要

写本収集:平成24年7月25日から8月1日までインド、ジョドプールにあるラージャスターン東洋研究所を訪問し、必要写本のデジタルイメージを入手した。入手した写本の内容は当研究課題文献であるルーパ・ゴースワーミー著『ウッジワラニーラマニ』の写本を2本(カタログ番号2461、6154)、注釈書である『ローチャナローチャニー』の写本を1本(カタログ番号6154)、それから研究関連写本3本である。テキスト校訂・英語翻訳:当研究課題文献については、平成24年度4月からハンブルク大学に移行し、当大学アジア・アフリカ研究所のハルナガ・アイザックソン教授と週に1度、1時間～1時間半の講読会を開催してきた。講読時期と講読箇所は以下の通りである:24年4月1日～7月15日:3章26節～61節、14章1節～27節、24年10月15日～25年1月29日:14章28節～70節。学会発表・参加:8月3日から6日までインド、シムラのインド高等研究機関で開催された11th International Conference on Early Modern Literatures in North Indiaに参加した。この学会は3年に一度開催される国際的なもので、自分の専門であるインド近代初期の研究者が一堂に会するため情報交換にとても有益であった。今回は特にコロンビア大学からの参加が多く、アメリカでの研究情勢を詳細に掴む事ができた。10月にはオックスフォード大学ヒンドゥー教研究所とハンブルク大学アジア・アフリカ研究所においてそれぞれ研究発表を行い、有益なフィードバックを得る事ができた。出版:8月の学会で発表した論文を京都大学インド思想史学会から出版されているJoumal of Indological Studiesに投稿した。また、博士課程中からの同僚である、ラヴィ・グプタ(ユタ州立大学)、等との共著によりベンガリ派ヴィシュヌ教についての概説書を執筆した。博士論文は現在最終章の修正に取りかかっており、来年度中にオックスフォード大学出版社から出版の予定である。
