项目摘要

1、元禄俳諧における付合の性格-「うつり」を中心に-元禄期に活躍した蕉門外の作者の俳風を具体的に取り上げた研究は多くない。蕉風俳譜を相対化する従来の研究をふまえた上で、元禄諸派の俳風の違いを具体的に分析していくことが今後の課題となる。そこで、元禄俳壇で合い言葉のように唱えられた「うつり」を切り口に元禄期の連句作品等に検討を加え、元禄諸派の「うつり」に対する意識の違いが、個々の俳風の違いと密接に関係していることを明らかにした。2、其角と沾徳の俳論の共通性其角の不易流行観が、実は同時期に江戸で活躍した非蕉門の俳諧師沾徳の俳論と通じていることを提示した。個々の句の上に作意を凝らし、常にその作者ならではの句を生み出し続けるといった新しみの追求の仕方は、宗匠として江戸の大衆作者と向き合っていた彼らにふさわしい、非常に実際的なものであった。3、元禄期江戸の前句付前句付点者として活躍した不角の俳諧活動に注目し、不角の前句付興行が同じく江戸の前句付点者である調和からの影響を多大に受けていたこと、次第に雑俳化の傾向を強めつつも江戸前句付界の本格的な雑俳化を前に低迷し、ついに断絶するに至ったこと、そして元禄期の前句付興行や月次発句興行を通じて不角門下となった人々が、宝永以後も引き続き不角の俳諧活動を支えたことを実証し、不角の前句付・月次発句興行の意義を明らかにした。前句付投句者層の動向を視野に入れることで、元禄期の江戸俳壇をより立体的にとらえることが可能となった。
