项目摘要

「徂徠学派における中国先秦諸子研究-文化交渉学の視点から」というテーマで研究を進めた。本研究は徂徠学派における諸子研究の様相として、ひとまず『老子』に着目し、日中における文化交渉学の観点から徂徠学派における『老子』学の展開を明らかにすることを目的とする。日中両国おける『老子』王弼注の位置づけを整理して荻生徂徠の王弼注観をそこに位置づけ、徂徠が王弼注に注目した先駆者であったと考えられることを明らかにした。泊園書院の初代院主、藤澤東〓と、二代目院主の藤澤南岳による著述や学則を検討し、両者の立場が徂徠学の伝統に立脚したものであることを明らかにした。また、泊園文庫蔵・南岳自筆稿本『談老』について書誌学的特徴を検討し、さらに『談老』、及び宇佐美〓水校訂『王注老子道徳経』の書入れから、泊園『老子』学の特徴を考察した。書入れは従来南岳によるものと考えられてきたが、書入れのほとんどは東〓によるもので、後に南岳が補足的に加筆したことが明らかとなった。南岳自筆稿本『談老』では執筆時期が明記されていないが、先述の書入れと対照して、元治元年(1864)以降に記されたことがわかった。『談老』からは、南岳が「重本軽末」の「本」を「人倫道徳」と見なして自身の国体論や政教一致論に引きつけて『老子』を理解していた点が看取できた。以上の研究成果は、これまで等閑視されてきた徂徠学派や泊園書院における先秦諸子研究の実態を明らかにするための基礎となりうるもので、日本における諸子研究の歴史や、江戸時代の日本思想史という二つの研究分野に貢献し得るものである。また、文化交渉学という新たな視点を取り入れたことにより、新たな研究分野の基礎を築いたともいえよう。

"A Study of the Hundred Schools of Thought in China-Cultural Communication and Learning" This study focuses on the development of Laozi's theory in the light of the cultural interaction between Laozi and Laozi.
