Development of effective methods for regeneration of the periodontal ligament of cryopreserved teeth, for expansion of indications for tooth transplantation.

为了扩大牙齿移植的适应症，我们使用大鼠模型检测了冷冻保存后牙周组织的再生情况。分别于冷冻后即刻或冷冻后取出大鼠上颌骨，移植于腹部皮下组织。冷冻保存的牙齿在器官培养一定时间后解冻移植。对于器官培养后移植的冷冻保存牙，牙周再生能力的改善不明显。我们打算改进培养方法，并将在未来确定冷冻保存牙齿器官培养的效果和技术问题。

For expansion of indications for tooth transplantation, we examined the regeneration of the periodontal tissues after cryopreservation using a rat model. The maxillarymolars of rats were extracted and transplanted into the abdominal subcutaneous tissue either immediately or after cryopreservation. The cryopreserved teeth were thawed and transplanted after having done organ culture for a certain period of time. As for the cryopreserved tooth which it transplanted after having done organ culture, the improvement of the periodontal regenerative activity was not found clearly. We intend to improve culture method and are going to determine efficacy of the organ culture of the cryopreserved tooth and technical problems in future.
