Study on Reintegration of Offenders into Community and Partnership in the Community

本研究的目的是探寻罪犯的改过自新需求，进而提出有效的推动罪犯重新融入社区的制度。为此，笔者进行了定量和定性的调查，并研究了欧洲国家的相关制度。大多数犯罪人对自己对受害者和/或社区造成的伤害缺乏责任感，缺乏对自己再次犯罪风险的控制和解决问题的能力。此外，他们中的许多人被排除在社会之外。因此，为了防止再次犯罪，有必要为他们的生活提供全面的支持，包括通过社会政策和社区福利寻找工作，以及刑事司法政策的犯罪控制干预。我于2013年出版了这项研究的成果，书名为《罪犯与社区的重新融合》。

The purpose of this study is to search for rehabilitation needs of offenders and then to propose effective system to forward reintegration of offenders into community. For such purpose I conducted quantitative and qualitative investigations, and studied relative systems in European countries.Most offenders lack sense of responsibility for the harm they caused to victims and/or community, controlling recidivism risk of themselves and problem solving skills. Further many of them are excluded from the society. Thus in order to prevent recidivism, it is necessary to provide comprehensive support for their life including job seeking through social policy and community welfare as well as crime control intervention by criminal justice policy.I published deliverables of this study as a book titled “Reintegration of offenders andcommunity” in 2013.
