We developed an electrode that can both saccharize and oxidize starchybiomass using multi-immobilization of glucose oxidase, alpha-amylase, and glucoamylase(or beta-glucosidase) on a carbon paste electrode. The electrode is capable of directly producing current from starchy biomass material as well as cellulosic materials.
