In order to evaluate the frequency of small-scale eruption in a volcano, the purpose of this study is to establish a method for detecting the tracks indicating the eruptive episode in volcanic soils. It is proved that the existence of a clay mineral implies thesmall-scale eruptive event, but it is difficult to reconstruct the volcanic activity for a very small content of this clay mineral. On the other hand, radiocarbon age obtained from the sample of age known was good agreement with the old document. This result indicates that it is possible to decide the precise age by this 14C wiggle-matching method.

为了评估火山小规模喷发的频率，本研究的目的是建立一种方法来检测火山土壤中指示喷发情节的轨迹。粘土矿物的存在表明火山活动具有小规模的喷发事件，但由于粘土矿物的含量很低，很难重建火山活动，另一方面，从已知年龄样品中获得的放射性碳年龄与旧文献吻合较好。这一结果表明，用14C摆动匹配法测定岩石的精确年龄是可能的。
