日本の労働市場に関して興味深い事実として、雇用者一人当たり労働時間の変動が景気変動を4四半期先行するのに対し、雇用者数の変動が景気変動を3四半期後追いすることがあげられる。本研究は、既存の景気循環モデルでは説明できないこの現象を、労働時間と雇用者数を区別した確率動学的一般均衡モデルを用いて、定量的に分析する。本モデルでは、社会的意思決定者が生産性ショック、投資特有技術ショック、選好ショック、労働密度(Effort)ショック、政府支出ショックという外生変数に反応し、生産、消費、投資、雇用数、労働時間の配分を選択すると仮定する。定量分析に関して、実際に観測することのできない外生変数が存在するため、最尤法を用いて構造推計により、確率過程を推計し、それぞれの外生変数が景気循環に対してどのような役割を担っているかをシミュレーションによって検証する。この結果、生産性ショックは景気循環を説明するのに重要であること、投資特有ショックは投資と消費の比率を説明するのに重要であること、そして、Effortショックが景気循環に対する労働時間変動の先行と雇用者数変動の遅れを説明するのに重要であることが分かった。この結果から、Effortショックが日本の労働市場に重要な影響を与えていることが示された。ただし、本研究においては、厳密にはそのショックの正体を特定していない。推計されたEffortショックが景気を4四半期先導していることから、さらにミクロレベルでこの変数の変動要因を探ることは、労働市場のみならず、景気に関する政策の設計に有効であると考えられる。本研究の意義は、この点を明らかにすることにより、今後のさらなる日本の労働市場と景気循環の研究の発展を促すことである。

In this study, we found that there was no obvious difference between the two. In the fourth half of this year, the author proposed to explore the key factors of the number of changes in the market and the design of policies related to the environment. The significance of this study is to promote the development of research on the future development of Japan's market and landscape cycle.
