Lifecycle structural evaluation based on holistic risk assessment

近年来，在船舶和海洋结构设计中考虑结构全生命周期内的各种风险变得越来越重要。据说，在建造船舶和海洋结构物时，应根据“整体风险”的评估来评估其可持续性，其中包括安全、环境、社会责任等方面的评估。基于整体风险评价的概念，提出了考虑失效风险、环境风险等多种风险的全生命周期结构优化框架。此外，本文还探讨了结构不确定性的评估方法，这是评估失效风险所必需的。

Recently, structural design of ships and marine structures considering various risks in the lifecycle of the structure has become more and more important. It is said that sustainability of ships and marine structures should be evaluated when the structure is constructed based on assessment of "holistic risk" which includes assessment of safety, environment, social responsibility and etc. Based on the concept of holistic risk evaluation, we proposed a framework of lifecycle structural optimization considering various risks such as failure risk and environmental risk. Also, in this study, we investigated the method to evaluate uncertainty of structures which is necessary for assessment of failure risks.
