Shor-term and long-term effects of dietary intervention with Okinawan vegetable-rich traditional foods on clinical prameters including bood pressure.

对冲绳素食丰富的传统饮食进行食物干预(强烈干预)可显著降低血压和体重。然而，到目前为止的分析表明，通过提供食谱和健康促进信息的干预(弱干预)并没有显著改善这些参数。在反复提供信息的情况下，强干预的效果持续了一年，而弱干预的效果没有改变。这些结果表明，如果食物干预的强度较弱，其影响并不大。

Intervention of the Okinawan vegitable-rich traditional diet via the delivary of food (strong intervension) significantly decreased blood pressure and body weight. However, the analysis until now shows that the intervension via providing recipe of Okianwan traditional dishes and information of health promotion (weak intervention) did not significantly improved such parameters. Effects of strong intervention continued for one year with repeated information provision, however those of weak intervention did not change. These results suggest that the effects of food intervension is not large if its intensity is weak.
