Frequency and regional difference of DVT in Japanese general population

本研究的目的是澄清深静脉血栓的频率在一般日本人群。研究对象为日本7个城市1501名居民，平均年龄60.0岁。我们通过公共信息、网页、报纸和广播收集主题。采用坐位压缩超声法筛查深静脉血栓。结果共检出DVT 63例，各城市DVT发生率存在差异，平均DVT发生率为4.20%（范围0 ~ 7.1%）。40年以上DVT发生率为4.56% (0 ~ 9.2%)（n=1283）。日本普通人群采用收集法发现DVT的频率约为4.2-4.6%。

Purpose of this study is to clarify frequency of DVT in general Japanese population. Subjected were 1501 residents, mean age was 60.0 years old, in 7 cities in Japan. We collected the subjects by public information, homepage, newspaper and radio. Screening of DVT was performed by compression ultrasound method in sitting position. In results, 63 DVTs were determined and the frequency of DVT was differed from each city The mean frequency of DVT was 4.20% (range 0-7.1%). The frequency of DVT was 4.56% (0-9.2%) in more than 40 years (n=1283). the frequency of DVT in general Japanese population using collecting method may be about 4.2-4.6%.
