Development of a method for analysis of optimization in outpatient chemotherapy unit

本研究旨在建立一种门诊化疗单元优化分析方法。将产品管理中的系统仿真应用于医疗服务管理中。通过计算机模拟，诊断出最佳的人力资源，每天的医疗病人数量，病人预约，等等。结果表明，从床位利用率、护士利用率和病人等待时间的角度考虑，在10张病床的条件下，最佳的治疗能力为3名护士25 ~ 30例，并通过计算机模拟给出了不同条件下的结果指标，为优化分析提供了依据。

This study aimed to construct a method for analysis of optimization in outpatient chemotherapy unit. System simulation which had been used in product management was applied for medical service management. Computer simulation was conducted to diagnose optimal human resources, number of patient for medical treatment per day, patient appointment, and so forth. The result showed the optimal capacity of treatment would be assumed to be between 25 and 30 cases with 3 nurses in a unit which had 10 beds, from the view of bed utilization, nurse utilization and patient waiting time.It is available for analysis of optimization that outcome indicator are shown in various condition by using computer simulation.
