Development of the communication skill to solve the confrontational situation between patients and nurses relationship in the psychiatric ward.

本研究共有13家医疗机构、33个精神科病房的545名护士参与，共获得问卷278份，有效回复率为51.0%。本研究的分析目标是265例能够理解发生在病人和护士关系之间的对抗场景的情况。很多对抗性的场景发生在护士对病人做出以下回应时；护士机械地向病人解释护理的规则和原则；护士对病人的要求不真诚，没有表现出倾听的态度；护士经常为病人讲解同样的内容；护士用强硬的语气指导病人。当护士未能解决这些对抗场景时，会导致护士遭受语言暴力、身体暴力、性骚扰以及患者与护士之间支持关系的失败。

In this study, 545 nurses who engaged in 13 medical institutions, 33 psychiatric wards participated, and 278 answers (51.0% of effective response rate) were obtained. It was 265 cases that could understand the situation of the confrontational scene which occurred between patients and nurses relationship that was targeted for an analysis of this study. Much confrontational scenes occurred when a nurse gave following responses for the patients; A nurse explains a rule and a principle of the care to the patients mechanically; A nurse is not sincere in the request of the patients and does not show attitude to listen to; A nurse explains same in content for the patients frequently; A nurse directs the patients in a forcible tone. When a nurse failed to solve these confrontational scenes, it resulted in the verbal violence, physical violence, sexual harassment to a nurse and failure in supportive relationship between patients and nurses.
