A study on the preservation and use of historical documents about psychiatry

我们为改善保存和利用精神病学历史文献的研究基础设施作出了贡献，在日本精神病学史学会年度会议上组织了一次研讨会和一次展览，并举办了几次讲习班，旨在进一步深入讨论这一领域。此外，我们还参考了西欧国家精神病学博物馆的历史和现状，讨论了在日本建立精神病学博物馆/档案馆的可能性。

We contributed to the improvement of the study infrastructure for the preservation and use of historical documents about psychiatry by organizing a symposium and an exhibition at the annual conference of the Japanese Society for the History of Psychiatry and several workshops aimed at further intensive discussion on this field. In addition we discussed the possibility of establishing a psychiatry museum/archive in Japan, referring to the history and the present state of psychiatry museums in West European countries.
