Development of sutureless keratoplasty using femtosecond laser

应用飞秒激光(FSL)对兔进行无缝线穿透性角膜移植(PK)。在正常和大泡性角膜病变模型兔，用FSL行之字形、帽状和蘑菇状切开后，角膜组织中均未观察到炎性细胞。与传统的PK相比，每个供体都被移植到缝线较少的受者供体。使用FSL的螺钉构型对于无缝线PK可能是有用的。

We investigated sutureless penetrating keratoplasty (PK) using femtosecond laser (FSL) in rabbit. No inflammatory cell was observed in corneal tissues after zig-zag, top-hat, and mushroom incision using FSL both in normal and bullous keratopathy model rabbit. Each donor was transplanted to recipient donors with fewer sutures compared to conventional PK. Screw configuration using FSL might be useful for sutureless PK.
