项目摘要

研究の背景と目的恋人や友人といった親密な他者との関係には、安全な避難所機能と安全基地機能という2つの愛着機能が備わっているために(Feeney,2004)、人々の快楽的幸福度(快楽の享受・苦痛の回避)と達成的幸福度(個人的な成長・自己実現)の源となる。申請者の研究から、親密な二者間で共有された効力期待である「関係効力性」は、安全な避難所機能と安全基地機能を促進することが示されている(浅野・吉田,2011)。今年度は、親密な関係のなかで幸福度が高まるメカニズムの解明を目指し、相互作用の頻度、強度、多様性が、関係効力性に与える影響を縦断的に検証した。研究の具体的内容東海地方にある4つの大学にて、恋愛カップルもしくは同性友人ペアを対象とし、1ヵ月おきに3回のパネル調査を行った。その結果、恋愛カップル73組と同性友人ペア121組がすべての調査に参加した。これらのデータに対して、マルチレベル構造方程式モデリングによる分析を行うことで、2人の間で共有された二者関係レベルのプロセスと、個々人の心のなかで完結した個人レベルのプロセスを分けて検討した。分析の結果、相互作用の強度と多様性の高さが、その後の関係効力性を高めることが明らかとなった。また、相互作用の頻度の高さがその後の関係効力性を低めていた。これらの傾向は二者関係レベルでのみ認められた。研究の意義と重要性本研究の意義は、高い幸福度につながる関係効力性を形成・強化する要因を明らかにできたことにある。適度な頻度で影響力の強い相互作用を幅広く行うことで、恋愛カップルや同性友人ペアの関係効力性は高まると考えられる。これによって、われわれが高い幸福度を享受するためには、どのような対人関係を築けばよいのかという指針を得ることができた。
