项目摘要

これまでの現地調査で入手したデータの整理・分析を進めた。その成果は、「マリ農村における子どもと女性による共同労働組織-その変遷と経済活動の比較」(『アフリカ研究』84号)という論文や「「こども/おとな」であることをするところ-マリンケの子どもの集会における会話場面の分析から」(日本文化人類学会第47回研究大会)という学会発表を通じて発表した。前者の論文では、マリ南西部の農村において植民地期以前からある「トン」という共同労働組織が、市場経済化を背景として現在みられる子どもと既婚女性のトンへと変遷していく過程を示した。加えて、既婚女性のトンとの比較から子どものトンの経済活動の特徴を明らかにした。平成25年12月～26年3月には、ギニア共和国とマリ共和国において現地調査を実施した。平成26年2月まではマリが情勢不安定で入国不可能であったため、対象の民族であるマリンケが居住する隣国のギニア共和国カンカン州シギリ県内で実施した。その結果、ギニアの農村においても子どものトンの存在を確認することができた。そこで、「研究実施計画」における①トンの個人の移動歴と学歴との関連性、②トンの階層構造について調査をおこなった。マリのものと比較した結果、活動やトンに入会する多くの子どもが公立の小中学校にも通っている点などに類似性がみられた。しかし、個人の移動歴や組織構造の点では相違点がみられた。マリでの調査は、「研究実施計画」における③集会における話し合われ方やその作法の身につけ方などの情報伝達や学習のあり方の検討、④懲罰のあり方の検討を中心におこなった。その結果、集会における学習は、罰金のような懲罰を伴って生起していることがわかった。そこでは、懲罰をおこなう集会の司会進行役であるガルディと呼ばれる幹部役職が、場の規範を管理する者として重要な役割を担っていることがわかった。
