本研究は夏・殷・西周時代を中心に、副葬された青銅礼器・武器の様相を分析し、当時の葬制(礼制)を明らかにすることを目的としている。平成24年度の研究成果について、以下の3点にまとめる。1、国内調査における研究成果:泉屋博古館(京都本館)・黒川古文化研究所・寧楽美術館蔵の殷周春秋戦国時代及び漢代の青銅器の調査(写真撮影、拓本採取、法量計測)を行った。主に青銅礼器と青銅武器を対象とし、各器種のデータを収集するとともに、製作技術や使用法の観点から分析を進めた。2、国外(中国)調査における研究成果:昨年度に引き続き青銅武器の毀兵行為の分析をテーマに、中国北京、山西省を中心に調査を行った。北京では国家博物館・首都博物館において琉璃河燕国墓地、宝鶏石鼓山墓地出土青銅器の実見・写真撮影を行った。山西省では山西省考古研究所・侯馬考古工作站に赴き、天馬-曲村墓地、横水墓地出土青銅器を中心に調査を行った。3、博士論文について:博士論文『西周時代の礼制と葬制―青銅礼器・武器の副葬行為に関する研究―』が昨年度までの成果及び本年度の主たる研究成果である。本論の目的は青銅礼器及び青銅武器の副葬行為から西周時代の「葬制」及び上位概念である「礼制」について検討していくことである。西周時代の葬制の伝播・展開・拡散のモデルを構築し、夏代から殷代にかけての青銅礼器葬制を被葬者の個人的権威を反映させる段階である「人」への副葬と位置付け、西周時代の規格化された葬制を「墓」への副葬と呼び、その差異を明らかにした。また、青銅礼器銘文における祭祀・儀礼から導かれる「礼制」の変化と副葬配置の変化は対応しており、西周前・中期は周王との関係性を重視した「公」の副葬、西周後期は諸侯国の貴族階級の個を重視した「私」の副葬であると結論付けた。

This study focuses on the analysis of bronze ritual vessels and weapons in the Xia, Yin and Western Zhou Dynasties, and the purpose of burial system in the Ming Dynasty. The purpose of this thesis is to discuss the burial behavior of bronze ritual vessels and bronze weapons from the Western Zhou Dynasty to the concept of "burial system" and "ritual system". In the Xia Dynasty, the burial system of bronze ritual vessels reflected the personal prestige of the buried. In the Western Zhou Dynasty, the standardization of the burial system was carried out.
