项目摘要

本研究は中国明代の朱載〓を取りあげ、楽律学・楽器論・楽舞論・暦学・数学・経学に渡る彼の幅広い学術に貫通する思想的連関とその変遷を分析し、儒学における楽のあり方を提示することを目的とした。本年度は、特に四つの方向から研究を行った。第一に、朱載〓に至るまでの明代雅楽の沿革や明代思想家の楽論を分析した。特に、張〓・李文利・李文察・劉濂の四人を取り上げ、朱載〓の発明した十二平均律との関連を論じた。第二に、朱載〓の律暦合一思想を分析した。これまで、彼の楽律学と暦学はそれぞれの分野で研究されてきたが、本研究では彼の学術を「律暦合一」の観点から捉え、律暦の間にある思想的連関を考察した。まず『律暦融通』の構造を明らかにし、彼の制作した暦の背景にある理論を分析した。次に、朱載〓がいかにして「数」を利用し律暦合一をはかったかを検討し、彼の楽律学と暦法計算の最も基礎的最階には、『河図』・『洛書』の数理が取り入れられていることを示した。さらに、律暦を媒介する存在としての「気」に対する朱載〓の理解を、何〓らの議論をふまえ考察した。特に伝統的な理論である「候気の法」「卦爻配日術」に関する理論を取り上げ詳細に論じた。第三に、朱載〓の理論をより詳細に論じるため、彼に大きな影響を与えた朱熹と蔡元定の音楽論を分析した。特に両者の陰陽論・琴論・度量衡論に着目し、後世の朱子学者たちにどう理解されたのかという視点を加えて分析した。後世、『律呂新書』という著作は、蔡元定の易学理論と関連付けながら読まれ、また現在の研究でも蔡元定の術数学の一環と、当然のように見なされているが、朱熹と蔡元定は、楽律学と術数学の結合に対し、かなり警戒している点を指摘した。第四に、『六代小舞譜』『霊星小舞譜』などに見られる朱載〓の舞踏学を分析した。朱載〓は舞踏の練習過程を詳細に論じ、舞踏を重要な「修養」の一つと位置づけていることを証明した。
